Billy Conner is the scion of an unfortunate family of robbers, who became outlaws after the Civil War had left them broke, and is on the run with a loot: Tex and Carson must reach him before the infamous Sam Garner, infamous bounty hunter, gets his claws on them. In order to collect the rewards, the bounty killer is in fact willing to do anything and to obtain the necessary information he does not hesitate to torture old people, women and children: for this reason he must be stopped!
