To take revenge on Tex, who had set fire to his warehouse, the sinister trafficker Frank Bishop hires a gang of cutthroats. Meanwhile, the pards are on the trail of the five scoundrels who are hunting Silver Star, the black stallion incarnation of the spirit of Manito that Bishop himself ordered to capture, risking sparking a Navajo revolt! But the dirty game fails on all fronts: Bishop, surrounded and mad with rage, tries to shoot the fabulous quadruped, ending up trampled by the hooves of a herd of runaway horses.
