Rancho Dorado

A military secret service agent dies before the eyes of the pards, killed by a gang of desperados near El Paso! The deceased brought news of the theft of valuable matrices for the production of dollars. The molds, stolen from the mint by an infiltrator of Major Costigan's nostalgic Confederates, were then diverted thanks to a Southern traitor on the Moncada ranch who now churns out fake bucks by the thousands! Tex and Carson investigate undercover and end up in the clutches of the ranchero's henchmen! Tex and Carson, having infiltrated Rancho Dorado, where the ranchero Moncada prints dollars using stolen matrices, flee, hunted by a swarm of armed thugs! Shortly afterwards, the pards are intercepted by Southern rebels and Major Costigan has the molds recovered by the rangers delivered. Tex and Carson continue the retreat covered by the confederates but, when they realize that Willer had previously ruined the matrices, only the intervention of the cavalry saves the pards from a bad end!
