The Coda Macchiata marauders, kidnappers of the President's nephew, keep themselves well hidden, while their dark instigators achieve their objective: to raise tension against the Sioux of White Cloud. Washington sends the ferocious General Stonewell to repress the Indians, and the pards, waiting for the wise and influential General Davis to arrive to calm things down, ally themselves with the Sioux. The red Indian camp is moved in great secrecy to Saka Wata, the Sacred Mountain, and Stonewell's expedition is first sidetracked and then slowed down with a charge of bison and the flooding of the track!

Having arrived in the ghost town of Silver Hole to dig up the spoils of a robbery buried in the town, the bandits Fraser and Thorpe are shot by their old accomplice, Lomax, who is left for dead. And when the pards arrive, the curtain falls on the tragedy: Thorpe had already been stuffed with lead, Fraser crashes at the bottom of a well and Lomax dies bitten by rattlesnakes. Some time later, Tex and Carson are summoned to Fort Walsh in Montana, to guide two unpleasant and arrogant hunters: Senator Johnson and Mister Wilson, nephew of the President of the United States.
