The truth comes out: a letter unmasks him as a traitor and guilty of the massacre of his men during the Civil War and the infamous former Southern officer McCook, having eliminated the witness to that crime, tries to cover it all up by using the Ku Klux Klan to place the blame for the murder on the vile racists of Starkville! Some time later, a gang of pirates boarded, robbed and blew up the Natchez boat on the Mississippi, leaving a playing card with a skull and crossbones as a signature. Tex and his pards, commissioned by Mac Parland of Pinkerton, must rub salt in the tail of the ferocious marauders.
