At the ghostly ruins of the Stone Tiger, where mysterious treasures are hidden protected by a gigantic anaconda that lives at the bottom of a well, the final clash takes place between the pards and the revived Children of the White Bison led by Tahzay. But the troubles with the Indians are not over: bands of rebel Apaches, led by Rayakura, attack military outposts and raid the farms along the Green River. The Red Indian leader dies at the hands of Tex, but another warrior takes command of the revolt: Nokal. He is responsible for the massacre of the peaceful town of Aultman.
