Devil's Hole is in the hands of the gang of Amos and Bill Benton. Tex, having arrived in El Paso, learns that a Mexican is looking for him. Having tracked down the Mexican who in the meantime had fallen into an ambush, he learns that Mexican president Manoel Perez has fallen, and Montales has been locked up in a prison. Tex will have to cross half of Mexico, to find his old partner Drigo , and finally free Montales.
