Missouri!

The town of Glendale, Missouri, is attacked by a gang of outlaws who rob the bank and kill the elderly mayor. Stacy Robbins, the owner of the store, has recognized two of the assassins: Jude West and Rhett Corrigan, ex-guerrillas who fought on opposite fronts during the Civil War... Stacy calls Tex for help and, while they ride towards Missouri, the Ranger tells his son Kit the story of when he and his friend "Damned" Dick enlisted as scouts in Company J of the Seventh Kansas Cavalry, made up of the infamous "jayhawkers", fanatics abolitionist Northerners who hate all Missourians, allies of the Union, but guilty of sympathizing with the South... Tex and Dick have a secret mission: to ensure that Captain Jude West and his soldiers do not commit violence against the civilian population... In Civil War Missouri, Tex and "Damned" Dick are forced to fight on two fronts: against Rhett Corrigan's Southern guerrillas and against their own comrades, the Northern "jayhawkers" of the Seventh Kansas led by Captain Jude West. Many years after the end of the war, the two enemy guerrillas unite to take revenge on the citizens of Glendale, and once again find Tex on their way...
