Pierre Charbonne is what one would not hesitate to call an unscrupulous merchant. Having allied himself with the Blackfeet, the unscrupulous individual is truly ready to do anything to obtain a monopoly on the fur trade in the region. But to lend a hand to those who, like the honest Jim Colter, have not the slightest intention of giving in to the violence of Charbonne and his acolytes, our Ranger and his three pards intervene... In order to get rid of Jim Colter, the ruthless Charbonne does not hesitate to have his Shoshone wife, Shawea, daughter of Lame Elk, kidnapped. But this is only the first step of his plan. The shady merchant, in fact, fights without any rules and any honor, to the point of ordering a real massacre on his Blackfoot allies, who attack the Shoshone village, killing and devastating. Tex will also end up tied to the post of the Indians in Charbonne's pay. Luckily, however, Carson, Tiger Jack and Little Hawk are still free... A bitter and bloody battle between the Shoshones and the Blackfoot rescues Tex from his captivity, and now the four pards once again ride on the trail of their enemy: Pierre Charbonne. For the shady merchant the end is now near...
