The duel between Mephisto and Tex is coming to an end, even if we are still very far from the definitive epilogue... Months later, in the sunny desert of New Mexico, Tex is involved in a delicate mission: to mediate between the Mescaleros who, under the leadership of Durango, have abandoned the reserve and the army that wants to bring justice to the massacre of a patrol perpetrated by fleeing Indians.
