Sa-Hua, a young Navajo from the reserve, is in prison in Sanders, accused of the murder of Judge Kilburne and his daughter Katy, who had a love affair with the red man. The citizens, incited by the businessman Haggarty and his henchman Talbot, would like to lynch him. His father Ki-Nih makes him escape against the recommendations of Tex, who is investigating to prove the boy's innocence. But the Navajo takes justice into his own hands, on the arid Balokai Mesa, planting an arrow in the neck of his beloved's true murderer!
