Having survived the derailment of train 809, caused by the ruthless Lennox's gang to steal the army's money locked in a carriage, Tex faces the scoundrels with the help of the engineer Castleman and his bodyguard Shad. The latter is killed by the scoundrels and the ranger, wounded in the arm, takes refuge with Castleman in a cave, soon besieged by criminals. The intervention of a group of Nez-Percé Indians allows the two to reverse the situation, and when Carson comes to the pard's rescue, the curtain has already fallen!
