For the Oneida, the albino bear is the incarnation of Manitou's son and living proof of the god's benevolence towards them. For the English hunter Milton, however, it is just a magnificent prey to be killed, and in order to find its lair, he is willing to torture and kill. The Oneida are few, since all the young people are on the battlefield alongside the patriots... So what to do? The sakem of the four tribes, the wise Sad Owl together with his friends, must intervene. Saving the sacred bear means saving the Oneida from a tragic fate and the very fate of the alliance with the independence troops...
