On the island of San Pietro, in Sardinia, Sophie Mutter found the ancient symbol of the Tau graffitied in a cave. It seems like proof that, as tradition has it, the survivors of the legendary Crusade of the Innocents found refuge on the Sardinian island. Harlan recalls an old statement by Caleb about the beginning of the bitter clash between him and the Night Master Nergal, which occurred on that occasion.
