This number exists in two versions: the first, very rare, almost impossible to find, contains strips N. 1/8; the second, more common, contains strips N. 4/11. Probably the publisher prepared a first limited edition also inserting the strips N. 1/3 obtained from unsold copies. But since these were very few, once exhausted, they used the 8 subsequent strips, from N. 4 to 11. This explains the mystery of the double version of the
first number.

Moreover, this number also exist in three variants (on TuttoBonelli its cited 2 but there are actually 3) that differ from each other only by the back cover:

• Backcover #1 has the advertising of the following Raccolta Collana Arcobaleno N. 2.
• Backcover #2 has the advertisement of "Tex Raccolta I serie" N. 1. (this one probably contains strips N. 1/8)
• Backcover #3 has the advertisement of "Tex Raccolta I serie" N. 2.
