Il sospetto

Zardo, a loan shark confined to a wheelchair, has his henchmen beat up an avid gambler, Pickett, guilty of not having paid him a debt. Marvin, in the meantime, is the victim of an attack, but manages to save himself: the instigator's trail leads to Zardo himself. Having discovered where the loan shark is hiding, Nick and Marvin reach him. Zardo is killed with shots fired from Marvin's gun. The agent, stunned with a shot to the back of the head as soon as he entered the hideout, is innocent, but some revelations about his past and his relationships with Zardo frame him and make him the most likely culprit. It's up to Nick to investigate to exonerate him...
