Alec Stanford, an unscrupulous doctor, orders the kidnapping of a child. The child's father was killed in the operation. The murder case is entrusted to Nick and Marvin, while the task of finding the child falls to the FBI, represented by the couple of agents Fergus and Bristow. It immediately becomes clear that the kidnapping is not for ransom: the child's parents are not rich. Meanwhile, Stanford entrusts the child to Maureen, a young drug addict. The solution to the case is dramatic and shocking. Young Maureen returns to her rich grandfather who had disinherited her, with her newborn son. The old man, suffering from a heart attack, welcomes the lost sheep, together with his only heir, and reintegrates it into the family and into the will. Too bad it's all a setup orchestrated by the old man's cynical doctor, Doctor Stanford. The child, in reality, has been kidnapped and his father killed, but Nick Raider is already on Stanford's trail...
