During lunch at a fast-food restaurant, Nick and Violet are involved in a shootout between a customer armed with a machine gun and a couple of men coming from outside. Violet is injured. One of those responsible for the clash, the hunted man, is identified thanks to his fingerprints: he is a soldier. An army representative puts pressure on the police to leave the operation in their hands. But Nick is not intimidated and sets off in search of the fleeing soldier, who looked much older than his twenty-nine years... as if something was stealing his life from the inside. Something that comes from military laboratories that hide a lethal secret!
