Mister Quaid, owner of space farms, asks Aristotle Skotos to destroy Urania's crops, so as to remain the sole supplier of food to Earth: Skotos sends the murderous telepath Ravn to the orbiting station. Nathan also goes to Urania, to visit his sister-in-law Madeleine Novak, Laura's sister, and his niece Chris. Ravn, in contact with an independence group from Urania, has a nuclear bomb with him with which he wants to blow up the station...
