During an attempt to steal an ancient painting, protected by Nathan, April and May, the girls' father, Donald Frayn, loses his life and their sister July is injured. Later, Nathan is invited to dinner by a friend, the student Anthony Russo, but when he arrives at his house, he finds him dead. Through Anthony's girlfriend, Saki, Nathan discovers that one of the boy's professors, Marcus Modens, has tampered with the murdered student's computer. Professor Modens, however, resorts to July's help...
