Missione Mayarì

An expedition into the heart of the jungle in search of Chief Kamanau risks ending in the worst possible way. But once he has escaped the tragic fate that his kidnappers wanted to reserve for him, the dramatic situation of his Indians appears before the eyes of the chief of the Waimiri-Atroari, decimated by a disease that seems to leave them no escape, while the whites try to take over their land. And with anguish in his heart, Kamanau will have to make a terrible decision... The clash between the chief Kamanau and his son Taboka, clearly divided on the decision to be made regarding the road that must cross the Indian territory, risks ending tragically.
