Two masked individuals kidnapped her in the streets of Venice, while, together with Martin, she was on the trail of a map to a mysterious island that, according to legend, Christopher Columbus had already aspired to find. Mystère then moves to Genoa, where, in the last century, the captain and explorer D'Albertis discovered a way to reach the island. With Java and the physics professor Mario Jasper, The Detective of the Impossible continues the search for his beloved wife... The book is completed by a story of Uncle Boris, the column "The Thousand Worlds of Alfredo Castelli", and the strips of the Docteur Mystère!
