Martin Mystère is in Beijing for a conference, but his short working holiday is interrupted by a young policewoman, who forcibly asks for his help in unraveling the tangle of a complex and apparently insoluble case: a series of brutal murders, all committed in "mysterious" ways. Unable to leave the country, the Detective of the Impossible is forced to collaborate with the handsome police captain, and, while the investigations take place, the shadow of a disturbing character with whom Martin had already had to deal in the past rises: a woman who called him "The blond-haired devil"...
