Boris Grigov is an elderly Russian exile who fled to Nice. No one knows where his wealth and the exceptional vitality he demonstrates come from. Grigov is haunted by the death of the Tsar's family, which he witnessed as a boy, and, thanks to a medium, he manages to evoke the spirit of a daughter of the Romanovs. Together with her, however, the shadow of Rasputin also appears and begins to persecute the old man. But Mystère, who is in Nice with Grigov's niece, suspects that there is a deception behind it.
