Milo Temesvar, an old and bouncy man of letters, drags Mystère and Java from Florence to the National Library of Buenos Aires to find the Book of Sand, an object described in a story by Jorge Luis Borges, undisputed master of fantastic literature and director of the Library in the 1950s. But the Men in Black are more determined than ever to stop these searches... A fierce fight is taking place in the National Library of Buenos Aires: Martin, Java and the scholar Temesvar are looking for an object with incredible powers that the writer Jorge Luis Borges hid there in the 1950s. The Men in Black act against them, wanting to find the object and destroy it. Meanwhile, the library staff observes and does everything to defend, from anyone, the secret that the ancient institution holds.
