Incroci pericolosi

Starting from the Pompeian latercolo, or the Latin magic square that recites the enigmatic phrase "Sator Arepo Tenet Opera Rotas", an adventure begins that brings Martin Mystère temporarily back to New York. Here, the Detective of the Impossible finds the city invaded by a wave of homicidal madness which seems connected, in some obscure way, to the crossword puzzles published every day by a major newspaper. The wave of homicidal madness that is sweeping New York shows no signs of stopping. Indeed, the fury of the citizens ends up triggering a real manhunt, in which his friend Inspector Travis also takes part and which has Martin Mystère as its intended victim. The cause of everything is a mad scientist, author of the "New York Times" crossword, who manages to give peremptory orders to the solvers of his own crosswords. His last order is: "kill Mystère"!
