With this book, the adventure begins that marks the beginning of the "Italian Mysteries", or the temporary transfer of Martin Mystère and Java to our country. The discovery of the tomb of the Egyptian architect Imhotep kicks off the search for an unidentified city called Thwt Rym, where a magical object with incredible powers was supposedly kept: the Tear of Thoth. Martin Mystère is in Italy to record a series of television programs dedicated to the "Italian Mysteries" and, for a while, will live in Florence, in via dell'Anguillara. As soon as he arrives, the Detective of the Impossible immediately finds himself grappling with a mystery linked to ancient Egypt, but which, right in our country, will find its solution: the discovery of the location of Nea Heliapolis, a secret city also known as Thwt Rym!
