A mysterious crime, carried out according to an ancient Sumerian ritual, leads Martin to investigate his fellow archaeologist Harkness who, during an excavation near Ur, was assistant to Professor James Farney. The latter is convinced that the perverse soul of the Sumerian god Marduk lives in Harkness and tries to kill him, but without success. Then contact the Detective of the Impossible to ask for his help...
