Magico Vento has to face an emergency in the heart of Indian territory, in the Badlands, cursed lands inhabited only by "outcasts" (Indians driven away from their respective tribes) and by poor families dispersed following the invasion of the Black Hills by white miners. A ferocious band of Shoshone invaded the area with the intent of taking prisoners among the Sioux. They intend to deliver them to General Crook to impress him positively: in fact, they want to join the army as support troops and mark themselves as more reliable and determined allies of the Crow. Exploring the Badlands to gather the missing Sioux and help them repel the attack, Magico Vento meets many curious characters, exiled or self-exiled for the most diverse reasons: lonely people, with few weapons and meager means of subsistence, men and women who know no discipline, but accustomed to surviving at any cost. The Shoshone, however, are very fierce and ten times more numerous than them... Continue your adventure in the Badlands. Magico Vento tries to bring the Sioux families to safety, finding them shelter in an "outcast" warrior village. The group is attacked by the Shoshone led by Unknown Beast, who falls prisoner to Ned and his allies. Unknown Beast, however, is an indomitable fighter and has no intention of remaining imprisoned: our team will have to work hard not to let him escape. Meanwhile, Incandescent Lava approaches the "outcasts" camp, determined to free his brother. Soon, much blood will flow in the Badlands!
