Fango

He runs to grasp a dream, the young Sioux called Fango by his people. He wants to earn everyone's respect and bring some light back into the heart of his grandmother, who for many moons seems only to be waiting for death. But his gift, the ability to run faster and lighter than any other man can, ignites the interest of Sonny, a race organizer who does not hesitate to use the boy, as well as another unfortunate "champion", a black vagabond nicknamed Hobo. Sonny pays no attention to their hopes, nor does he care about their desires; for him Mud and Hobo are just an investment, useful as long as it pays off and crossing the finish line could mean the difference between life and death, if Magico Vento wasn't watching over them!
