Legs and May's eccentric new neighbor, Groggy, accidentally comes into possession of a small spear-shaped amulet. The amulet is part of an ancient African idol and, inserted into the statuette, would allow us to identify the place where the Nzondo civilization developed, whose origins are lost in myth. But the amulet is tempting to many and Legs and May will ask for the help of a true luminary, the talkative Professor Bruno von Markiz... The expedition led by Legs and May, which also includes two well-known archaeologists and representatives of Arkéion, a prestigious foundation for the protection of artistic heritage, makes its way through the lush tangle of the equatorial forest in search of the lost vestiges of the mythical Nzondo civilization, which has disappeared for millennia. But the thick of the jungle hides pitfalls after pitfalls. And even the two representatives of Arkéion, behind their reassuring facade, seem to hide a dark face...
