Ken is saved from a robbery by young Hawkins, a cheater. When he is arrested for fraud, Ken wants to return the favor and post bail. But in prison the young man will make bad encounters and will be forced to participate in an escape. Only love for a girl can bring him back to the right path...
The story takes place in Canada , in the (future) state of Saskatchewan and more precisely in the town of Milestone .
The load that Ken has to transport to a mining village will be delivered in the next issue.
This album, following previous story "Milady", can be placed in time at the end of 1876.
