A group of heterogeneous characters: Ken, a scalp hunter, an army lieutenant, a wealthy New York restaurateur and his daughter, traveling on a stagecoach from El Paso to Socorro, in the semi-desert southern New Mexico. They find themselves forced to join forces to face the threat of the Comanche Indians, who have gone to war against the whites.
