Clowns

Terrible nightmares have populated Adam Mallory's nights since he was a child... The ancient fear is now reawakened by inexplicable dizziness caused in him by the images of a television show set under the big top of the Valentini Circus. Just as Julia tries to explain Adam's obsessions, the young man is killed. The Garden City criminologist thus begins to investigate acrobats and clowns, discovering loves, rivalries, hatreds and... unsuspected murderers!
