Arnstadt, a quiet German town, where two old acquaintances return, Professor Hans Milius and his beautiful student, Sophie Mutter. In an attic, a strange doll's house is found, mysteriously linked to the disappearance of a little girl in the early twentieth century. A century later, Sophie is the one who disappears! As the only clues, Dampyr has mysterious music heard in a dream and the strange toy, whose doll-inhabitants seem animated by an inexplicable silent life.
