During their journey back to Darkwood and after the adventure with the Seminoles, Zagor and Chico arrive in Danielsburg, a town founded by the famous trapper Daniel Boone, who disappeared years earlier without leaving a trace. Chico disguises himself and passes himself off as the legendary hero in order to get a substantial lunch: immediately discovered, he only earns a blind beating!

Fun adventure of only 27 strips, exclusively dedicated to the friendly Mexican with Zagor appearing only briefly at the beginning and end of the story.
