With the closure of Furio, the Lobo Kid story remained unfinished and is now resumed in this second volumes, mainly to "fill" the programming of the Rodeo Series since Gino D'Antonio was not able to produce stories for “Storia del West” every month. G.L. Bonelli evidently now has something else to think about, and the continuation of Lobo Kid is entrusted to the little-known Verozzi who immediately derails the story, distorting it and concluding it hastily. So much so that, after the first volume “Lobo Kid” with a text by Gian Luigi Bonelli (probably the very first pages of the second story are also his, although not credited) which presents the story up to Yagor's redemption, the following volume, “Il giorno of revenge", contains only three quarters of the main character and in the appendix a self-contained western story of foreign origin drawn by Del Castillo (or one of his imitators).
