Halloween is a dark place, a kingdom of darkness where all the beings that the world rejects find shelter, often malignant and mischievous beings, or too different from ordinary people - tragic goblins over whom the Prince of Halloween lords, a knight dressed in black, black like his horse, and with a pumpkin for a head, who goes around at night killing with his sword, apparently at random. First on the list is rancher Ffolkes, and his brother hires Brendon to name the mysterious killer. Who summoned the sinister knight? Perhaps the beautiful Moon, with the body of a woman and the spirit of a child, who would love to join the legion of the Kingdom of Eternal Night?
