This is the last number that reprints Furio Audace adventures. From N. 44 the new adventures of Furio Almirante begin.

Furio story takes 8 pages instead of usual 6, with the new adventure "Il re del circo" left unfinished and modified so that it looks like Furio continues his travel with a boat into a new adventure in next number.

After destroying the circus in last episode, Singleton and Budding are captured by the police. Furio now takes some time to rest in the hotel when he receives a gift package with wine. However wine is drugged and Furio after drinking a glass, fells down and is kidnapped by Singleton men. While in his capture, Singleton also kidnapped Lola Montero, from one of previous Furio adventures, because he want to blackmail her fiancee regarding a diamond mine he found  in Cuiabá, Brazil.
