Title is slightly changed from original Audace.
In original Audace N. 367 Furio story is squeezed into 5 strips per page instead of usual 4, and reduced by one table to 5 pages, however in this reprint it retains 6 pages therefore including first table from N. 368.

Furio has done away with Singleton, Budding and Soci, taking back the Martins' farm and blowing up their lair. However, the bandits, in retreating, kindap Serafino who felt down in river after the explosion, and take them to Buenos Aires where the monkey is sold to a Circus. Furio, believing Serafino died, also happens to be in Buenos Aires and immediately gives a lesson to a certain Lindon, owner of the Grant Circus Europe. with which Singleton and Budding made a partnership to take revenge on Furio.

We are in Mexico towards the end of the 19th century. The war against the Indians has long since ended after a long succession of bloody battles. Most of the red tribes have surrendered to the will of the whites who begin in the new land of America the construction for a new civilization of peace and work, guaranteed by the richness of the soil and the power of their wits. But the peace won by the pioneers in the West was not enough to appease the ferocious Red Indians and some of the defeated tribes who rebelled against the will of the victors, in the shelter of the rocky mountains of the West, lead a nomadic life, devastating and killing, led by ferocity and by an insatiable desire for revenge. Among these tribes the most terrible is the one led by Nevecka, cruel and beautiful woman whom the whites have nicknamed "The Black Venus".

Enrico Bagnoli, who was in charge of the graphic design, drew inspiration from the great Alex Raymond.
This story is reprinted after the war, as an appendix to Audace Furio Almirante from N. 28/40 (1946), where the hero is renamed as Italian-American Tony Brelli and the last 4 pages (which in original where drawn by Franco Donatelli instead of Enrico Bagnoli) are redrawn and shortened to 2 pages now by Nino Catania.

Angelo Bolognesi, strong temperament Italian explorer, employed in a company in Egypt, he left Anglo-Egyptian Sudan to visit establishment founded by his boss, mr. Petrick, for the search for ivory. We are at the end of the year 1856. And in those wild lands the horror reigns.
