Although there is no shortage of the usual reports on the books, films, videos and CD-ROMs of the year, the Almanac stands out for three articles: one on Emilio Salgari's novels set in the Wild West, one on the legendary figure of the Lone Ranger, one on the great actor Clint Eastwood. In the comic story, Tex discovers, in the Rocky Mountains, inside a miserable shack, some residues of gold dust next to the corpse of a young woman, Lory Culter. The investigations start from nearby Reddock, where everyone suspects Danny the Mad, Judge Atherton's secret and abandoned son, kept hidden in an isolated place due to his illness. What role does the sheriff have in the murky affair and who was it that stabbed poor Lory to death?
