Almanacco del West N. 4
Almanacco del West 1997
An overview of the books of the year and a retrospective on western cinema inaugurate an Almanac which also talks about the legendary general Custer, Cocco Bill, the funny cowboy created by Benito Jacovitti, and the weapons "that conquered the Frontier". In the comic story, the cowboy Clint Jackson, having served ten years in prison on charges of murder in the Yuma penitentiary, returns home to Bad River in a climate of heavy hostility. Tex immediately takes the ex-convict's defense. In the village it is common opinion that Clint really killed Adam, supervisor of Lance Stoddard's farm and brother of the beautiful Linda, who married Luke, scion of the rich ranchero. But there was once something tender between Linda and Clint... What truth does the tragic family drama hide?
