Charlie Fagioli, a small-time mobster, tries to profit as much as possible from an internal war within the Coppola family. By sheer chance he survives an attack in which the old boss and his loyal men are killed, then goes to the Coppola house and comes out with a valuable briefcase just before the boss's daughter, who ordered the massacre, arrives. Wounded and hunted by the girl's goons, he manages to slip into the sewer conduit by way of the subway. There he is helped by "Gray", an outcast who lives in the sewers. But Nick Raider manages to reconstruct what happened and...
