Za-Te-Nay, the legendary axe-bearer of the Darkweed woods from the world of Martin Mystère.

Za-Te-Nay is the Zagor of a parallel universe: a white man raised by the woodland tribes, the axe-bearing protector of the Darkweed woods, keeper of an enchanted hatchet that answers to the forest's tutelary spirits. At his side rides his constant companion Colonel Martínez, a short, round, heavily-mustached retired Mexican colonel, grumbling, superstitious, loyal to the death and forever complaining the comic relief and the conscience of the pair.
