THE SECOND FATHER

For numbers 55 and 56 it is impossible not to use once again a perhaps overused adjective: "mythical". These are the books in which Zagor tells his story, his drama as an orphan after his family was massacred by the Indians, his joy at finding a "second father" in Wandering Fitzy, the old trapper who raises him, teaching him to fight, but above all warning him that justice is not always where you think it is. It is up to him, in fact, to reveal to the future "Spirit with Ja Hatchet" that his beloved father was actually a bastard, and that he did not deserve revenge. Perhaps, the hardest test that our hero has ever had to overcome: but thanks to that terrible experience, and thanks to Fitzy, Zagor became a man.
