CHICAGO COPS

“Cops” means, in popular jargon, policemen, and the term is above all linked to the “Keystone Cops” protagonists of many old silent film comedies (produced by Keystone). More than the forces of order, they are the weaknesses of disorder, clumsy pursuers of Ben Turpin or Charlie Chaplin in amazing and hilarious escapes. And Nolitta certainly remembered them, creating the "Chicago Cops" of the story that develops on numbers 35, 36 and 37. Especially in the central issue, "Solo against all", the cops have the opportunity to show off their charge of involuntary humour. No lack of respect towards the guardians of the law, for goodness' sake! Just a bit of healthy irony for the established authority, and woe if it wasn't there or, worse, if it were prohibited.
