ENEMY BROTHER

Brother because all Darkwood Indians are such, for the most part. Spirit with the Hatchet. And an enemy because Nakawa launches a challenge to Zagor and openly declares war (in numbers 6 and 7). In the Zagor saga, similar ambiguities of relationships inevitably recur, and injustices and misunderstandings are always lurking: Zagor is often considered a renegade by the whites, and among the Indians he is still a white. Many times, these conflicts will unfortunately be resolved in a way. tragic, but Nakawa's story is exemplary in the opposite sense: he will end up recognizing the vanity of his desire for revenge, and Zagor will restore his dignity as leader. No longer an enemy, therefore, but only a brother.
