Characters of Zagor's World

Mohican Jack

THE LAST CHARGE

Despite his brief appearance (numbers 56, 57 and 58), Jack Elworth, alias Mohican Jack, remains a memorable figure in the Zagor saga. Journalist of the "Boston Chronicle", Elworth cares about the problem of the integration of the red Indians as much as the Spirit with the Hatchet, but paradoxically, while Zagor, a man of action, pursues his goals with a daily work of reconciliation, Elworth, a man of letters, wants to impose the cause of the red people on public opinion with disruptive and bloody actions. Defeated on all fronts, Mohican Jack finally seeks death and the front page of the newspapers with a solitary and desperate suicidal charge... The "Power" will ensure that he finds only death!
