THE CITY WITH A HOPE

Hopeless City truly means "city without hope", but one hope, the only one, is perhaps himself, the "Mayor" of that ghost village inhabited by idlers, tramps and jailbirds. We are referring to the story of numbers 45 and 46, and in the shantytown that is the backdrop to the story we like to see some echoes of a great film by De Sica, "Miracle in Milan". Even there there was a "city without hope" inhabited by homeless people, and even there there was hope: the miracle, in fact, with the poor who ultimately fly towards a better world. For our “Mayor” flight is death. A hero's death, an example and a hope of redemption for the outcasts of the earth.
