THE DANGEROUS GAME

We stole the title from a famous film directed in 1932 by Ernest Schoedsack (the same as "King Kong") and inspired by an equally famous story by Richard Connell. The protagonist was Count Zaroff, a mad former Tsarist general who retired to an island to dedicate himself to his favorite sport, hunting: not of animals, but of men. Thus a new horror myth was born, a new "monster": and Zaroff was obviously taken up by Nolitta, a great fan of the cinema of terror, with Lord Nicholson, protagonist of the story published in numbers 29 and 30. Nicholson plays his last "dangerous game" with Zagor, but neither of them will win: jaguars will kill the hunter, symbols of nature taking revenge on those who have wounded it.
